At the time, although I had over 200 manuscript pages already written, it seemed that a graphic novel/comic book format was better suited for this type of story. Since then, I have changed my mind time and time again, resulting in a number of false comic book starts, with the fantasy novel format staying as the only constant.
I am now close to 300 pages, and have ruled out comic book as a viable format for a variery of reasons. But I decided to share it on deviantART regardless, since it was a pretty decent first shot at a comic if I do say so myself.
This page was drawn at a size of 11"by 17". It was then inked with a spoon pen and Deleter 5 ink, with toning and lettering done in Adobe Photoshop with digital screen tones from Deleter ComicWorks.
I have been meaning to getting around commenting on this attempted webcomic but haven't gotten the chance too. Now I'm finally gonna do it. I know it's old and you stopped it eras ago but I still enjoyed, the 20 or so pages that were finished, and liked the story.
This cover is nice, simple but well-finished. It certainly leaves a reader curious of the story they are to read.
